What is a Registered Supporter? The number of registered supporters represents signatures on a virtual petition. It is a simple measure of how popular the idea of my Presidency is. The higher the number, the more people will sit up and take notice. My son asks how much of a chance I have. He would like to live in the White House. What teenage boy wouldn’t? He sees the count of registered supporters and wonders how many votes it would take to win. Ignoring the complexities of the electoral college and focusing on the popular vote, we can look at the 2004 election. Approximately 121 million people voted in 2004. Assuming the same number of people vote in 2008, give or take a million, I would have to have at least 61 million. How hard is it to get there? Hard, but never impossible. I explained it to my son this way. If everyone who was registered told a friend, my number of supporters would double. If I continued to double every day, it would take only 18 days to top 61 million people. A time period of less than three weeks could change America forever. Will you help? Register today! (Your e-mail address will never be shared with others and you will never be asked for money!) Not yet. Let me read more first. Go backWho thinks anything like this is possible? (Note: this is opinion on opinions only...)
